The Cabling Partnership has built an enviable reputation as a "supply-chain" trainer, undertaking the development and/or delivery of specialist training schemes on behalf of cabling product/system suppliers.

This includes the management of the databases covering the companies and persons trained. The training schemes cover the specific requirements defined by the suppliers for the design, installation and operation of the products or systems.

In general, this type of training does not take the place of basic skills training in the field of cable laying and general installation/operating quality assurance but concentrates on the extra requirements neccesary to meet the warranty or guarantee requirements offered by the supplier.

DEDICATED SKILL-BASE
Few suppliers can afford the luxury of employing full-time training staff. Training services offered by such companies becomes partial - rarely being given the attention it deserves. The Cabling Partnership provides a team of dedicated trainers and managers whose main activity is the development and delivery of training. So whether the copper cabling is unscreened or screened, the optical fibre is 62.5/125, 50/125 or sngle-mode, The Cabling Partnership will be pleased to review the options for supply chain training.

EXPERTISE
Our training courses are written by Mike Gilmore. Mike is directly involved with the standardisation of IT cabling on a British, European and international basis. This ensures that the training courses provided to the supply chains are up-to-date, relevant and technically correct.

INDEPENDENCE
Independence is key to the success of The Cabling Partnership. We have to work with suppliers, installers and users of all persuasions and affiliations. This level of independence also benefits the manufacturer/supplier since new products and concepts will be given a more critical examination than when using "in-house" trainers.

QUALITY OF TRAINING
We employ trainers to specifically service supply chains with which we are involved. All the courses are specifically tailored to suit the cabling systems and/or products involved.

TRAINEE DATABASE MANAGEMENT
It is not enough just to provide training. The records of who has been trained, in what and when have to be kept. In addition, some supply chains require re-training, re-validation or auditing services. The Cabling Partnership has developed the required management tools for all of these aspects.
